Wildwood Park/Shelter House Usage Request
Usage
In January 2015, our Elders adopted a new policy concerning Wildwood Park Usage. The park is only available for those that attend Wildwood Church of God - for their own private functions (birthday parties, family reunion's etc.) The park is also available on a limited basis for area schools and their functions. Unfortunately, if you do not meet the above criteria we will not be able to accommodate your request for park usage.
Cleaning
While we will make every effort to ensure that the shelter house and surrounding areas are ready for your use, please understand that shelter house and park usage is not our primary ministry focus. As a church we depend heavily on our volunteers to maintain our property. While it takes the better part of a week to mow the church lawn and park property, there are times that inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances hamper our endeavors. It is normally in your best interest to arrive a little early to wipe down tables, remove debris, etc. that may have accumulated from the previous night.
Available Areas
Shelter House A - located near the upper parking lot at Wildwood Church of God. This shelter house has running water and electricity. Unfortunately, no restrooms are available.
Wildwood Park - The only available area for use are Shelter House #3 (at the bottom of the hill and turn right. Use of the Shelter House includes the Soccer Field as well.
