Worship

At Wildwood Church of God, we understand worship to be a lifestyle - one that encompasses weekend singing and praying as a gathering of church family, as well as subtler aspects of our everyday individual routines.
Scripture tells us that when we offer our lives to God for His purpose, we are actually participating in a special, spiritual act of worship. And when, as a church community, we begin to connect to God in a way that goes beyond th emotions, we start to see worship in a whole new dimension - one that is an integral part of the way we live our lives and relate to those around us.
Pastor Steve ALWAYS has a relevent and timely message. Our services are casual in nature and last about an hour. Our preaching pastor will most always be in jeans and a T-shirt with his iPad in one hand and his favorite soft drink (Ale8One) in the other. Of course, you're welcome to bring your soft drink or coffe into the worship center with you too.
Visually, the Sunday morning worship is enhanced with technology including environmental projection and computer-controlled lighting. Occasionally, worship includes elements such as sign language, expressive artistic pieces and dramatic interpretations or readings. Some weeks we use a simple acoustic guitar and djembe drum with a couple of vocalists, while other weeks you will find a dynamic worship band and praise team.
